Group Ride, Tomorrow!

Meet a Sunergos at 8pm! Lets do this up right, thinking a 30-40 mile ride!

Tuesday night ride!

It was a good ride tonight. Not as many people as last week but that's okay, we had an awesome ride. We met up at Sunergos Coffee shop, then rolled downtown to Broadway, took that all the way down to Shawnee Park. A few people we passed were surprised that we were rolling through their "hood" some youngins said something about taking one of our bikes as we rolled pass them. I thought, nope you wouldn't actually. Once we got to Shawnee Park we cut over and went through Rubber Town, ended up on Algonquin and took it to Winkler, took 3rd back down to broadway, took that up to b-town road and ended the night at Spinelli's once again. It was a good ride, and a good time. I can't wait until next weeks ride.

Maiden Voyage!

Got to go on a real ride today with the new bike. Got to say that I love it so very much! I ended up doing about 30 miles throughout the day, which I'll probably be sorry about tomorrow. I really haven't gotten to ride much the last two weeks, and I rode hard today, so I'm sure the soreness will rear it's ugly head on the morrow. Kurt, Cullen, Bryan, Mike and I rode around today, hit a parking lot trick sesh, which meant I didn't do a whole lot. I'm not so good at the tricks, but I'm definitely getting faster and stronger, that makes me happiest. Hope I'm no to sore as I would like to ride to and from work tomorrow, I guess we'll see how I feel when I wake, I came home and drank one of my protein recovery shakes so hopefully that'll help. Anyway it was a good day, I think we're going to try and organize a Tuesday night ride and meet at Sunergos. More on that very soon for sure.

NEW WHIZZIPP!!!!!!

Got the new whip in today, and already got it put together and took it for a test ride. Compared to the Felt which was a bit small this bike feels like a road bike, plus no toe overlap, I'm stoked. Only thing I need to do is get the fork drilled for a break as the mounting spot hasn't been drilled out. I can't wait to get some riding in this weekend, then knee is still kind of wonky feeling so gonna try to do more mild riding tomorrow.

I can haz cold?

Apparently I can and it sucks. All winter no problems, now at the beginning of summer I catch a cold. It's the most ludicrous thing to get sick in the summer. Anyway I'm feeling way better today, I'll be able to get back to working out tomorrow, and hopefully be able to ride the new bike by this weekend. That's all for now.

Weekend!

Wasn't much of one, worked a half day today, which is crap/good. I need to get my paper up so it'll be good in the end. Thursday I rode to work, my knee started hurting again on the ride in. I made the mistake of putting the drops back on the bike, and it was hot. One of the most brutal rides I've been on in a while. Since my knee was hurting I didn't get to go to the Evil Alleycat that was held in Cincy on Friday. I hope it was a good time. I've realized that my frame is just to small for me, I'm sure this is why I just can't get comfortable on the bike, somethings always just a little off. With my knee hurting and the realization my frame was a bit small I posted in the trade thread on bikeforums.net, and to my surprise I got a response the same day. A guy on there has a 56cm fuji track pro and he's down to trade. Picture below;



This frame is of the same cost/quality of my felt and in the size I needed. Plus it has an awesome Death sticker on it. So it's name is now Death. It's paint job is a little rough, but that can be fixed if I so desire. I'll be shipping my bike to him on Tuesday and he'll be shipping his bike to me that day. I'm super stoked to get this in and try it out. Beyond that, Friday I watched Godzilla VS Mothra, and Underworld. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Underworld, it was pretty damn good in my opinion. Today, I worked as stated earlier, then hit up ZA's with my boy d.carr from work. Then back to Wild n Wooley and rented the new Rambo movie. It was gory as I was told, that was about it though, not as bad ass as the original by any means. I'm planning on a big music update on Tuesday. I've just been worn out and not in the mood to do the work for a music post. In a few days I'll do a massive update though. Off to relax more.

LA Riots/Action Jackson!

It went down this past saturday! Was hella fun, The Galaxy Kid(aka Evan Scott) Dropped it like it was hot(hadn't heard snoop's acid drop in a minute) Action Jackson(Ben) freaking killed it, Met his friend Summer, and talked to Flufftronix for a bit. And LA Riots destroyed the crowd! I was extremely drunk and had a great time. Thanks everyone!
